This is Adrian Borowski

I come from a time right before the internet.

Then when it came, and each time you connected to it, you'd have a rush of emotions going up and down your spine.

You suddenly felt like you could knock on anyone's door, and they might open.

A time when we waited at least 2 minutes to load a picture, pixel by pixel.

We used MIRC then ICQ to talk. Websites were personal spaces, not disguised to try and sell you an idea or a product.

Search results could not be bought and when you got to page 2, you could find documents no one ever meant for you to see.

It was sometimes a risky but always an exciting time.

A time before it all got twisted.

Can I be honest with you? I don't know why this website exists.

For now, I hope to discover what is it's disguise and share with you the things we tell ourselves to survive, as well as the things we tell others to thrive.
